Royal rift grows over Harry’s US lifestyle
Tensions between Prince William and Prince Harry continue to simmer, with new comments highlighting just how deep their disagreement runs.
According to Ailsa Anderson, the Prince of Wales is particularly unhappy with his brother’s life in the United States. Harry, who stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and moved to California with Meghan Markle, has since focused on building financial independence while remaining publicly tied to his royal identity.
Anderson claims William sees this arrangement as unacceptable. From his perspective, Harry is attempting to balance a private, independent life while still benefiting from royal associations—something William reportedly refuses to support. She described the situation as “non-negotiable,” adding that William would not accept such a setup under any circumstances.
Harry, however, has rejected the idea that he is no longer contributing in a meaningful way. He has emphasized his ongoing charitable work and dedication to causes he cares about. During a recent visit to Ukraine, he reinforced this point, saying he remains committed to the responsibilities he feels he was “born to do” and that he will always be part of the royal family.
The divide between the brothers reflects broader tensions within the monarchy. While King Charles III is reportedly interested in repairing the relationship, William is said to remain firm in his position, underscoring how unresolved the conflict still is.
