Second Tube strike causes major delays

Commuters across London are facing renewed travel disruption as members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) begin a second 24-hour strike.

The walkout started at 12 noon today, with union members setting up picket lines outside several Tube stations. The ongoing industrial action is part of a dispute with London Underground over proposed changes to working conditions, including alterations to shift patterns and the working week.

The latest strike follows similar action earlier this week, which caused widespread disruption across the network. During Tuesday’s walkout, some Underground lines were fully or partially suspended, while others operated with significantly reduced services.

Passengers are once again being advised to expect delays, cancellations, and limited service across much of the Tube network as the dispute continues.
