Prince George Celebrates 13th Birthday in Style
Prince George has celebrated his 13th birthday with the release of a new official portrait shared by the Prince and Princess of Wales. The photograph, taken by photographer Matt Porteous after Trooping the Colour last month, shows the young royal smiling in a dark suit without a tie at Kensington Palace.
The image was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media accounts alongside the message: “Happy 13th Birthday, George!”
The milestone comes during a significant year for Prince George, who is expected to begin his studies at Eton College in September, following in the footsteps of his father, Prince William. The move marks the next stage in his education as he continues to prepare for his future role within the British royal family.
Recent public appearances have highlighted how much George has grown. He joined his parents during a visit to RAF Coningsby for Armed Forces Day, where he explored aircraft from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and later attended the Wimbledon men’s singles final.
