Prince George Grows Up During Rare Royal Outing

Prince George made a rare public appearance alongside his mother, Princess Kate, during a visit to Royal Air Force (RAF) Coningsby in Lincolnshire, England, where the pair toured aircraft maintained by the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The outing offered a glimpse of the future king, who will celebrate his 13th birthday on July 22. Photos from the visit showed George looking noticeably taller than before and nearly matching the height of his mother as they explored the military base together.

During the tour, George and Princess Kate climbed into the cockpits of several historic aircraft and learned about the work carried out by the RAF. Kate, who has served as the honorary Air Commodore of RAF Coningsby since 2023, wore a smart casual outfit consisting of dark trousers, a plaid blazer, and flat shoes.

The visit comes during George’s summer break before he is expected to begin attending Eton College, the prestigious boarding school his father, Prince William, attended during the 1990s. George currently studies at Lambrook School in Berkshire alongside his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.

The royal family’s last public appearance together was at the annual Trooping the Colour celebrations on June 13, marking the official birthday of King Charles III. George joined his parents and siblings in the traditional carriage procession before the family gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the Royal Air Force fly-past.

The latest outing highlights Prince George’s growing role in public life as he approaches his teenage years while continuing to balance royal duties with his education.
