Trump Physical Exam Results Released

The White House has released details from President Donald Trump’s recent medical examination, with his physician reporting that the president remains in strong overall health.

According to a memo from U.S. Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, the physician to the president, Trump demonstrated healthy cardiac, pulmonary, and neurological function and continues to be in “excellent health.”

Trump underwent the examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Tuesday. The appointment lasted roughly three and a half hours and marked his third scheduled visit to the facility in the past 13 months.

Following the exam, Trump shared a message on social media saying the checkup went smoothly and thanked the medical staff, describing the results as “perfect.”

The president, who will turn 80 next month, was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency last summer after noticeable swelling in his legs and ankles. The newly released report noted mild lower-leg swelling but said the condition has improved compared with last year.

The physician also addressed bruising on Trump’s hands, explaining that the White House attributes it to frequent handshaking combined with aspirin use.

Medical findings included normal vital signs, lab work, and physical examination results. The report added that a 3D heart scan showed no abnormalities.

Trump also completed a cognitive assessment, earning a perfect score of 30 out of 30.

Doctors advised continued preventive care, including dietary guidance, greater physical activity, ongoing weight management, and use of low-dose aspirin.

According to the memo, Trump currently takes three medications: aspirin for heart health and the cholesterol-lowering drugs Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe.
