Hajj 2026 Meeting Draws Attention in Makkah

London Mayor Sadiq Khan shared photos from Saudi Arabia, where he is performing the Hajj pilgrimage.

In a statement posted on his social media account, Khan described his Hajj journey as “a deeply life-changing experience.”

“An experience where everyone is equal”

Khan said that being in ihram alongside millions of Muslims from around the world was “a beautiful experience that reminds us that everyone is equal before Allah.”

“London is in my prayers too”

In his post, Sadiq Khan also said that he would remember those in need in London and around the world in his prayers.
