A Southwest Airlines flight attendant is facing backlash after allegedly posting messages on social media that appeared to call for violence against former President Donald Trump.

According to reports, Michele Carpino made the comments shortly after news emerged that a man had attempted to breach security at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C. The individual, identified as Cole Allen, was stopped by Secret Service agents before causing harm.

In a now-deleted Facebook post, Carpino reportedly wrote a message expressing a wish for a more successful assassination attempt. Additional past posts attributed to her have also drawn criticism, including the use of the phrase “86 47,” which some interpret as coded language implying violence. The same phrase previously sparked controversy when it was shared online by former FBI director James Comey.

Other posts linked to Carpino included inflammatory remarks about political groups and government agencies, further fueling outrage online.

The incident has prompted strong reactions from some customers, with several सोशल media users stating they would reconsider flying with Southwest Airlines. Concerns have centered on whether individuals expressing such views should hold positions responsible for passenger safety.
