Mel Gibson Seen Getting Close to Italian Model

Hollywood veteran Mel Gibson has ignited fresh romance speculation after being photographed sharing affectionate moments with Italian actress and television personality Antonella Salvucci during a recent outing in Rome.

The 70-year-old Oscar-winning filmmaker and Salvucci, 44, were seen enjoying an evening together in the Italian capital, beginning with a private seafood dinner at Micalusi Real Fish. Gibson kept his look casual in a white button-down shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap, while Salvucci wore a fitted leather jumpsuit.

After dinner, the pair reportedly toured several of Rome’s most recognizable landmarks, including Monte Mario — home to the panoramic “Zodiac” viewpoint popular with couples — and Fontanone del Gianicolo, where photographers captured them embracing and kissing.

Salvucci is widely recognized in Italy for her work across television, modeling, and entertainment journalism, and also maintains a strong social media following.

Gibson has been spending considerable time in Italy while working on The Resurrection of the Christ, his upcoming sequel to The Passion of the Christ.

The public appearance comes months after Gibson’s reported split from screenwriter Rosalind Ross. The couple, who were together for nine years, share a son, Lars, and are said to continue co-parenting following their separation in December.

Gibson is also father to seven children with former wife Robyn Moore, as well as a daughter with Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva.

Despite widespread speculation surrounding the photos, reports from entertainment outlets suggest Gibson may still be single. Sources cited by TMZ reportedly described the affectionate exchange as a friendly farewell rather than confirmation of a new romance. Gibson’s representatives have not publicly commented on the reports.
