Diaz and Madden name newborn son Nautas
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have quietly expanded their family, welcoming their third child together. The couple shared the happy news through an Instagram post, revealing they have named their newborn son Nautas Madden.
Benji Madden announced the birth with a heartfelt message, expressing the couple’s excitement and gratitude. He described their growing family life as joyful and fulfilling, noting that their children are “healthy and happy.” While the couple chose not to share photos of the baby, Madden included an image of a ship and explained the meaning behind the name Nautas—“sailor, navigator, voyager,” symbolizing someone unafraid of the unknown.
Diaz responded warmly to the announcement, leaving a string of star and heart emojis in the comments.
The couple, who married in 2015, are already parents to daughter Raddix, born in December 2019 via surrogate, and son Cardinal, born in March 2024. Over the years, Diaz has often spoken about how much she values motherhood, previously describing it as the most rewarding part of her life.
Alongside her family life, Diaz has also returned to her acting career. She was recently seen filming the romantic comedy The Sham in New York, directed by Stephen Merchant. The film follows a British hotel worker who enters a fake marriage with a struggling comedian—played by Diaz—that gradually turns into a real romance.
Her return to the screen comes after a decade-long break, including her role opposite Jamie Foxx in the Netflix action-comedy Back in Action. Diaz has spoken openly about balancing her career with family life, emphasizing her desire to maintain a manageable routine.
Reflecting on her comeback, she has described the opportunity to act again as a privilege, expressing gratitude for being able to return to the industry while still prioritizing her family
