Lily Allen and David Harbour List Their Brooklyn Brownstone

Singer Lily Allen and actor David Harbour have listed their elegant townhouse in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, for £6 million — just days after Allen released her highly personal new album West End Girl, which delves into their breakup and the story behind their home purchase.

The couple’s split became public late last year, and Allen’s latest project has been widely described as a “revenge album.” It marks her first release in seven years and is packed with raw emotion and confessional lyrics about heartbreak, betrayal, and self-discovery.

Among the most talked-about tracks are “Tennis” and “Madeline,” which reportedly detail the moment Allen discovered her husband’s alleged affairs — including one said to have lasted three years. The latter song, named after the alleged mistress, includes the provocative lyric: “Who the f** is Madeline?”*

In a playful nod to the controversy, Allen recently dressed up as Madeline, the famous children’s book character, for Halloween — the same day she released the single of the same name. Later that night, she turned heads at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont in a sheer black lace dress showing off her recent breast enhancement.

The singer also shared a series of sultry Halloween snaps on Instagram, captioning one post, “West End Girl in a West Hollywood World,” echoing her new album’s title.

David Harbour Finally Speaks on

Meanwhile, David Harbour, 50, reflected on the end of their four-year marriage in an interview with Esquire Spain. Ahead of his milestone birthday, the Stranger Things star spoke about “pain, slip-ups and mistakes,” admitting that while he sometimes wishes he could change his past, he knows personal growth often comes through hardship.

“You either accept your path completely and realise that even the pain and mistakes are part of the journey,” he said. “If I could change one thing, I’d change everything — just make my life happy and silly — but then my art would probably suffer.”

Allen and Harbour, who met on the celebrity dating app Raya, tied the knot in 2020 in a Las Vegas ceremony. Their once high-profile romance has now become one of this year’s most publicized celebrity breakups — and the inspiration behind one of Allen’s most revealing albums yet.
