“Her decision not to change clothes, even after being encouraged to, was an act of extraordinary bravery. It was performance, protest, and mourning, all at once. A woman weaponizing image and grace to expose brutality. It’s about trauma, power, and how family itself is a form of resistance,” she wrote, referring to Jackie Kennedy.
Fox emphasized that her costume was not meant to offend but to highlight themes of trauma, strength, and resistance embodied by the former First Lady.

However, Jackie Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, publicly condemned Fox’s costume on X (formerly Twitter), calling it disrespectful and dangerous.
“Julia Fox glorifying political violence is disgusting, desperate, and dangerous. I’m sure her late grandmother would agree,” Schlossberg wrote.
