Katie Price hit with seventh driving ban again UK
Katie Price has been banned from driving for the seventh time after failing to respond to police correspondence about a speeding offence.
The 47-year-old former glamour model has accumulated driving bans totalling more than six years since her first disqualification in 2010. Her most recent case involved a Ford Capri registered in her name, which was recorded travelling at 80mph in a 70mph zone on the A64 near Stutton, North Yorkshire, on 15 October 2025.
North Yorkshire Police contacted Price at her home in West Sussex requesting confirmation of who was driving the vehicle. After she failed to respond, she was convicted of not providing driver information and given a six-month driving ban. She was also ordered to pay more than £1,000 in legal penalties.
The case was handled under the Single Justice Procedure, a legal process allowing magistrates to deal with less serious offences privately. Although Price initially faced both speeding and failure-to-identify charges, the speeding allegation was later withdrawn.
Magistrate Claire Sagar, presiding at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on 31 March, fined Price £660, with an additional £120 in court costs and a £264 victim surcharge.
Due to the nature of the Single Justice Procedure, it is unclear whether Price had the opportunity to challenge the latest disqualification or whether the court fully considered her previous driving record.
Previous offences
Price’s driving history includes multiple convictions over the past 15 years:
• 2010: Six-month ban after admitting a speeding offence.
• 2012: One-year ban for failing to respond to speeding notices.
• 2018: Six-month ban following another speeding conviction.
• 2019: Three-month ban for driving while disqualified, followed by a conviction for being drunk in charge of a vehicle after her car left the road and hit a grass verge.
• 2019: 18-month ban for failing to identify the driver involved in a crash.
• 2021: Received a 16-week suspended prison sentence for drink-driving while disqualified and uninsured, along with a two-year ban, 100 hours of community service and rehabilitation sessions.
• 2024: Fined £880 for driving without a licence or insurance in Northamptonshire but avoided disqualification.
Her latest ban continues a long pattern of motoring offences that courts have repeatedly criticised as serious and persistent.
