Sydney Sweeney Launches Solo Studio After Split

Sydney Sweeney has officially severed her last professional connection to ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino, marking a decisive new chapter in both her personal and business life.

According to TMZ, the actress dissolved the production company she co-founded with Davino and has since launched a new venture under her sole leadership — a move that signals a clean break on all fronts.

End of Fifty Fifty Films LLC

Sweeney and Davino established Fifty Fifty Films LLC in January 2019 during the early years of their relationship. The independent production studio went on to back two of Sweeney’s most prominent projects: the romantic comedy Anyone But You, co-starring Glen Powell, and the horror film Immaculate.

As recently as May 2025, both Sweeney and Davino were listed as managers of the company. However, on December 12, official paperwork was filed with the State of California requesting the dissolution of the LLC. The filing stated that the decision was approved by a vote of all members.

Sources told TMZ that Sweeney bought out Davino’s stake in the company to move forward independently.

A New Chapter: Fifty Fifty Films Inc.

In January 2026, Sweeney filed paperwork to create Fifty Fifty Films Inc. — retaining the original name but restructuring the company entirely under her control. She is now listed as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Secretary, with no vacant board seats.

While the branding remains familiar, the ownership and leadership are exclusively hers.

Relationship Timeline and Aftermath

The professional split follows the end of Sweeney and Davino’s engagement. The couple began dating in 2018 and became engaged in 2022. By March 2025, the relationship had officially ended.

A source previously told Us Weekly that their lives were deeply intertwined after years together, making a clean break difficult. In the months following their breakup, the two were seen together multiple times, sparking reconciliation rumors. Insiders, however, maintained that “the wedding is still off” and that they were maintaining a strictly platonic relationship.

“Sydney and Jonathan have maintained a good relationship during this time and aren’t back together,” one source said, adding that Sweeney was focused on work and embracing single life.

Moving Forward Personally

As she reshapes her business empire, Sweeney has also entered a new romantic phase. She was first linked to music executive Scooter Braun after the pair attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice. They were later seen together publicly, including at an amusement park outing alongside Sweeney’s parents.

Still, sources describe the relationship as casual. “It’s a very laid-back situation,” an insider told Us Weekly. “Sydney is not looking to settle down right now.” Another source noted that she is hesitant to jump into anything serious and remains focused on her career.

Navigating Love in the Spotlight

Sweeney has been candid about the challenges of dating in the public eye.

“I’m still figuring out love, and it’s hard to do that with millions of people who have their own opinions of what that looks like,” she said in a recent interview.

Reflecting on her previous long-term relationship, she added, “I was in a relationship for a very long time — seven and a half years — and I never talked about it. I was very private. No one would ever see us. It’s hard deciding that I want to experience love in the public eye. I’m just navigating it all.”

With full control of her production company and a renewed focus on her career, Sweeney appears determined to move forward on her own terms — both professionally and personally
