Alfie Whiteman Retires from Football to Begin Career

The North London-born player, who came through the Spurs academy, is set to begin a new chapter as a director and photographer.

Whiteman, who left Tottenham at the end of his contract last summer, made his only first-team appearance in a Europa League match against Ludogorets in November 2020. Despite limited playing time, he remained a respected member of the squad and was part of the team that lifted the Europa League trophy last season, earning a European winner’s medal before hanging up his gloves.
