A past remark made by former U.S. President Donald Trump  about his daughter Ivanka Trump  has once again come back into the spotlight in media.

The comment, originally made during a 2006 appearance on the ABC talk show The View , has re-entered public discussion after being widely shared on social media platforms in Türkiye. During the broadcast, Trump said, “If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her,” a remark that sparked controversy at the time.

Although the statement is nearly two decades old, it has periodically resurfaced in media coverage and online debates. Turkish news outlets and social media users have recently circulated the clip again, bringing renewed attention to the former president’s past comments.
