“Beverly Hills, 90210” Star Accused of Assault and Battery Two Years After 2023 Biker Brawl
Ian Ziering, best known for his role on Beverly Hills, 90210, is facing new legal trouble stemming from a highly publicized road rage incident that occurred in Los Angeles in 2023.
According to People, Jacob Hernandez has filed a civil lawsuit against the actor, accusing him of battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious prosecution, negligence, and negligent infliction of emotional distress. The complaint was filed nearly two years after the incident, which took place on New Year’s Eve.

In the lawsuit, Hernandez claims that he and a friend were riding motorbikes and stopped in front of Ziering’s Mercedes at a traffic light. He alleges they were not blocking traffic, stating that no vehicles were moving at the time.
Hernandez claims Ziering exited his vehicle and, “completely unprompted,” pushed him, causing injuries and damage to his motorcycle. The complaint further alleges that a physical altercation followed when other individuals stepped in to help Hernandez.

Beyond the physical confrontation, Hernandez accuses Ziering of providing misleading information to law enforcement, which allegedly led to Hernandez’s arrest in May 2024. Hernandez’s family reportedly posted $50,000 bail following the arrest.
