Leaked Avengers trailer hints at Cap’s return
While Marvel Studios has not confirmed the leak, screenshots and short descriptions have circulated widely on social media, particularly on X.
According to viewers familiar with the footage, the teaser avoids major plot spoilers and instead focuses on reintroducing a key Marvel Cinematic Universe character. The trailer reportedly confirms the return of Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America, ending with the message: “Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday,” alongside a release countdown.
The trailer was expected to premiere exclusively in theaters with Avatar: Fire and Ash, which opens this week. Speculation around its release intensified as Disney’s marketing campaign for the film was expected to begin a year ahead of its scheduled December 18, 2026 release.
However, insider reports claim Disney may have delayed the trailer to avoid clashing with DC Studios’ Supergirl trailer. As of now, Marvel Studios has not addressed the alleged leak or announced an official release date for the teaser.
