Sydney Sweeney has shared candid insights into her dating preferences and personal growth following recent changes in her love life. The Housemaid actress spoke openly during an interview with Allure magazine alongside her co-star Amanda Seyfried.
Describing her ideal partner, Sweeney admitted she appreciates a well-kept man who is “tall and handsome” with “beautiful eyes and big arms and hands.” However, the 28-year-old actress emphasized that personality matters far more than physical appearance.
“You could be like the hottest man ever; if you have a bad personality, you’re done,” Sweeney explained. Seyfried quickly agreed, adding, “If you let your ego rule the day… you’re a loser.”
Sweeney also humorously pointed out that confidence and attitude can transform anyone’s appeal. “If you have a great personality… you’re pretty good. Put sunglasses on; you’re great,” she joked.
These remarks surfaced amid reports of Sweeney’s growing bond with music producer Scooter Braun, following the end of her three-year relationship with Jonathan Davino in May. Shortly after the split, she told The Times UK that she has been focusing on herself and her friendships, saying she is “learning a lot” and “loving it.”
Meanwhile, Sweeney and Seyfried recently appeared together on Vanity Fair’s lie detector test series, where Sweeney made a surprising revelation about social media. She disclosed that her public TikTok account, @syds_garage, is often flooded with hateful content directed at her.
Amanda Seyfried reacted strongly, responding, “Well, f*** TikTok. F*** TikTok!” in support of her co-star.
Despite the negativity online, Sweeney continues to prioritize self-growth, authenticity, and meaningful connections—both personally and professionally.
