Earlier in 2025, Jessie J revealed in an emotional Instagram video that she had been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. She underwent a mastectomy in June 2025, and doctors confirmed that the cancer had not spread — a major relief for the star and her fans.

In August, six weeks after her surgery, Jessie J was rushed back to the hospital after developing an infection and fluid on her lungs.

Following her mastectomy, Jessie J announced she would need a second surgery before the end of the year, forcing her to postpone her previously scheduled 2025 tour dates.
She told fans:
“Unfortunately I have to have a second surgery – nothing too serious but it has to be done by the end of this year. I’m so sorry, I feel frustrated and sad, but I need to be better, I need to be healed.”
