Danny Jones Enjoys Romantic Dinner With Wife Georgia After Turbulent Year

I’m A Celebrity 2023 winner Danny Jones treated his wife Georgia Jones to an early birthday celebration in London following a challenging year for the couple. The McFly star and his wife, who recently worked through a public scandal, were all smiles during a luxury dinner at 45 Park Lane on Thursday night.

A Special Birthday Celebration

Despite rarely posting his wife on social media, Danny shared a heartfelt moment on Instagram as Georgia blew out candles on a dessert board.

Captioning the video, he wrote:

“Early birthday treat @thegeorgiaedit. Insane food @45parklane CUT!! Thank you @elliottgrover you legend!”

The clip showed Georgia excitedly saying, “I’m gonna blow it out,” while Danny recorded from behind the camera.

Moving On From Past Controversy

The couple’s romantic night out follows a turbulent period earlier this year. In March, Danny was caught sharing a drunken kiss with his I’m A Celebrity co-star Maura Higgins at a Brit Awards after-party.

At the time, an onlooker said:

“Danny and Maura seemed to be having a great time. They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss.”

After the incident made headlines, Danny issued a public apology to Georgia on Instagram:

“I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.”

Friends close to the couple revealed that Danny held crisis talks with Georgia and was determined to “draw a line under the scandal.”

Reunion With Maura at the NTAs

In September, Danny and Maura risked an awkward run-in as they reunited on stage to accept an NTA award for their ITV series. With Ant and Dec filming in South Africa, Danny delivered the acceptance speech, thanking fans for their support.

It remains unclear whether the pair interacted during the night, as Danny stood with Melvin Odoom while Maura was seen chatting with Coleen Rooney.

A Long-Lasting Love Story

Danny and Georgia first met in 2010 and got engaged three years later during a holiday in Cyprus. They married in 2014 in Georgia’s hometown of Malton, North Yorkshire, with performances from McBusted and Ellie Goulding making the day even more memorable.

The couple share one child, Cooper Alf Jones, born in January 2018.
