Kevin Spacey Is Homeless Eight Years After Sexual Assault Scandal
Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey, 66, has revealed that he is currently homeless and living out of hotels and Airbnbs, eight years after the sexual assault scandal that derailed his Hollywood career. In a new interview with The Telegraph, Spacey confirmed that he lost his longtime home in Baltimore, Maryland, where he had lived for 12 years.
“I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs,” he said. “I literally have no home… I’m going where the work is.”
Legal Battles and Financial Strain
Spacey’s professional downfall began in 2017, when he was accused of sexual misconduct by four men for incidents allegedly occurring between 2004 and 2013, during his time as artistic director at London’s Old Vic Theatre. He faced nine criminal charges, including sexual assault and causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent. Spacey denied all allegations.
In July 2023, he was acquitted of all nine charges.
In 2022, he won the civil sexual abuse case brought by actor Anthony Rapp.

Despite his struggles, Spacey continues to work internationally. His most recent film was the 2024 Italian thriller The Contract. He also has several projects in production, including:
