Pregnant Elsie Hewitt Reaches Out to Fans Amid Severe Hypermobile EDS Pain

Elsie Hewitt, is opening up about the intense and worsening pain she’s facing during her pregnancy. The 29-year-old model, who is expecting her first child with the comedian, shared an emotional update on Instagram Stories, describing the constant discomfort she has been battling.

“I’m in absolute agony pretty much 24/7,” Hewitt admitted. “This morning, it’s really bad.”

Hewitt explained that she has attempted nearly every method imaginable to manage the pain — from acupuncture and stretching to exercise, steroid injections, and energy healing — yet nothing has provided relief.

“At this point, if you can think of something that helps with pain, I’ve tried it,” she told her one million followers. “I’ve tried everything, and it’s only getting worse. I can’t walk. I’m just straight-up suffering every single day.”

The model also revealed that she believes her severe symptoms may be connected to both endometriosis and Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), a connective tissue disorder she has been diagnosed with.

Hewitt said she is now turning to others living with the condition for support:

“I would really like to speak to someone who has been through pregnancy and birth with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Did your pain go away after? Does it get better? Am I going to die?”

She added that she is simply searching for “a little bit of hope.”

Before announcing her pregnancy in July, Hewitt had previously discussed concerns about how endometriosis might impact her ability to conceive. As she gets closer to giving birth, the Dave actress admitted she has growing nerves about what lies ahead.

“I’m trying to mentally and physically prepare for literally having a baby, and I still can’t quite believe it,” she said.

Despite the challenges, Hewitt shared that Davidson, 32, has been her biggest source of support throughout her pregnancy.

“He’s really good at giving me pep talks,” she said. “He’s like, ‘Stop, rest, calm down.’ He takes amazing care of me.”

The couple was first spotted together in March. They later became Instagram official, moved in together, and made their red carpet debut within just a few months.
