Chuck Norris Dead at 86 After Being Rushed to Hospital in Hawaii

Legendary actor and martial artist Chuck Norris has passed away following a sudden medical emergency in Hawaii, his family has confirmed.

The 86-year-old star reportedly fell ill on the island of Kauai and was rushed to hospital, where he later died. In a heartfelt statement, his family shared the news of his passing.

“It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace. He lived life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved.”

Just days before his death, Norris had celebrated his 86th birthday on March 10. He appeared to be in good spirits, even sharing a video of himself exercising and joking about his age.

“I don’t age. I level up. I’m 86 today!” he wrote, expressing gratitude for his health, fans, and continued passion for fitness.

According to reports, he had been seen training on the island shortly before the incident. A friend told media outlet TMZ that Norris sounded upbeat and was “cracking jokes” during a phone conversation prior to his hospitalization.

Born Carlos Ray Norris, he first served in the U.S. Air Force before becoming a martial arts champion and eventually a global film icon. He rose to fame through action films such as Way of the Dragon (1972), where he starred alongside Bruce Lee, as well as Lone Wolf McQuade, the Missing in Action series, and The Delta Force.

Norris was widely admired not only for his on-screen presence but also for his lifelong dedication to fitness, discipline, and personal values.
