Taylor Swift Gets Recognition From Rosé
Taylor Swift has received heartfelt praise from Rosé of BLACKPINK, who recently opened up about the global pop star’s support during the early stages of her solo career.
During a January 28 appearance on Call Her Daddy , hosted by Alex Cooper , the 28-year-old South Korean–New Zealand singer shared rare insights into how Taylor Swift helped guide her through the complexities of the music industry.
Rosé explained that she was in the process of searching for a record label and learning how to protect herself professionally when she crossed paths with Swift at a party in the United States. At the time, Rosé said she was still trying to understand contracts, industry expectations, and the realities of launching a solo career outside of her group activities.
“That was when I was trying to look for a label and everything,” Rosé recalled. “But before that, I was learning about how to protect myself—what does everything mean.”
According to the APT. hitmaker, Swift took a genuine interest in her journey and encouraged her to ask for advice whenever needed. Rosé revealed that the 14-time Grammy winner even pulled her aside for a private conversation, offering guidance and reassurance.
“She was like, ‘Ask me anything,’” Rosé said. “Whenever you need anything, ask me. She was really, really, really helpful.”
This is not the first time Rosé has spoken highly of Swift. In a previous cover story interview with i-D magazine, she described the pop icon as a “girl’s girl,” noting that Swift went as far as sharing her personal phone number.
“She gave me her number and was like, ‘Let me know if you have any questions,’” Rosé said at the time. “Who does that? Like, you’re Taylor Swift.”
While Swift has largely stayed out of the public eye since releasing her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl in October 2025, Rosé has been busy with BLACKPINK’s activities. The group recently concluded their DEADLINE World Tour, which officially wrapped up on January 26.
The moment highlights the supportive bond between two global music stars and offers a rare glimpse into the behind-the-scenes mentorship that can shape successful solo careers in the international music industry.
