David Brooks Becomes a Dad After Wife Flora Welcomes Baby Girl

The 28-year-old footballer revealed the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday night, sharing that his wife Flora had given birth to their daughter, Lottie Elizabeth Brooks, on October 27, 2025.

Brooks wrote:

“Our beautiful baby girl born 27/10/25 — Lottie Elizabeth Brooks. Special addition to our family @florabrooks_ Love you.”

The emotional milestone comes after Brooks’ courageous battle with stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma, which he was diagnosed with in October 2021.

Back in June, Brooks shared that becoming a parent felt like a “miracle,” admitting he wasn’t sure if he would ever be able to have children following his cancer treatment.

He explained:

“When I was diagnosed, I had those conversations and there were never any guarantees that I’d be able to have children in the future. There was a chance it wouldn’t be possible. I was really lucky that it’s happened naturally.”

Now fully recovered and back to playing for Bournemouth and Wales, Brooks expressed his gratitude and joy at starting a family.

“After the treatment, everything has gone back to normal. I always wanted to start a family, and my wife and I are so happy that it’s all happened naturally.”
