51-year-old Victoria Beckham has shared her thoughts on female friendships while addressing the ongoing speculation surrounding her relationship with her son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz.
Speaking on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show, the fashion designer revealed that it takes a lot for her not to get along with another woman.
“I did. I’m a girl’s girl,” Victoria said when asked whether she got along with the other WAGs during her early years with husband David Beckham.
“I mean, you’ve got to be a real a*****e for me to not get on with you if you’re a woman.”

Beckham went on to explain that supporting other women has always been at the heart of her fashion and beauty work.
“Because I love women, you know, and that’s part of the reason why I do what I do with fashion and beauty. I want to empower women, and I want to share my tips and tricks with women.”
Her comments reflect her long-standing advocacy for female empowerment, a message she has emphasized throughout her career since her Spice Girls days.
Ongoing Rift With Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz
Victoria’s remarks come as renewed reports suggest ongoing family tension between the Beckhams and Brooklyn’s wife, actress Nicola Peltz.
The alleged rift reportedly began during the couple’s 2022 wedding, when Nicola chose to wear a Valentino couture gown instead of one designed by her mother-in-law’s label, Victoria Beckham.
Both Victoria and Nicola denied any bad blood at the time, with Nicola calling the feud rumors “silly.”
However, speculation resurfaced earlier this year after Brooklyn and Nicola skipped David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration.
A family source told the press that Brooklyn and Nicola are “always missed” at family gatherings but that David and Victoria have come to terms with the distance from their eldest son.
The Couple Remains Distant
While the family once appeared united — attending events together and sharing affectionate posts on social media — Brooklyn and Nicola haven’t been publicly photographed with the Beckhams since Boxing Day 2023.
They were also noticeably absent from Victoria’s Netflix documentary premiere and did not invite any Beckham family members to their vow renewal ceremony in August 2025.
According to reports, David and Victoria only found out about the event through an online article.
