Stranger Things Cast Made Sadie Sink Feel Welcome
Sadie Sink has opened up about a deeply emotional memory from the early days of filming Stranger Things, recalling the moment she first felt truly accepted by the cast.
In a recent interview with Elle Australia, the 23-year-old actress reflected on joining the hit series at just 14 and navigating the nerves that came with stepping into an already close-knit group.
Sink said the memory resurfaced after a conversation with her mother, during which they revisited old footage from her very first day on set. In the video, the cast can be seen dancing together inside a makeup trailer, celebrating the milestone moment. The boys were dressed in Ghostbusters costumes, while Sink wore a Michael Myers outfit from Halloween. A song by Tears for Fears played in the background, capturing the joyful atmosphere.
Rewatching the footage proved deeply emotional for Sink, as it brought back memories of how nervous she felt at the time. She admitted that, like many teenagers, she worried about fitting in—but said the kindness and support of her co-stars quickly eased those fears.
Describing the moment as “precious,” Sink shared that looking back now reassures her that she truly belonged. The experience remains one of her most treasured memories from the show’s early days and a reminder of the warmth that defined her Stranger Things journey.
