Prince William and Kate Middleton Begin a New Chapter
Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Prince and Princess of Wales, have officially moved into their new family residence — Forest Lodge, a stunning Grade II-listed eight-bedroom mansion in Windsor. According to The Telegraph, the royal couple left Adelaide Cottage in Windsor’s Home Park and relocated to their new home during their children’s half-term break.
The family of five — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — are now settling into their new surroundings, marking a fresh start after several challenging years.
The move was first confirmed in August when a Kensington Palace spokesperson shared that “the Wales family will move house later this year.”
Prince William and Princess Kate had previously shifted their base from Kensington Palace in London to Adelaide Cottage three years ago. However, their time there coincided with a period of personal trials — including the passing of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022 and the health challenges faced by both Princess Kate and King Charles III in 2024.
While King Charles continues his treatment, Princess Kate revealed earlier this year that she is now in remission, bringing hope and positivity to the royal family. Their move to Forest Lodge represents a new beginning and a chance to focus on family life in a more private, peaceful setting within Windsor.
