During an appearance on Hasan Minhaj’s podcast Doesn’t Know, the 41-year-old royal was asked directly if he intended to become a U.S. citizen.

“There are no plans to be at this point,”

replied Harry — the second son of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana — putting the speculation to rest.

The duke also opened up about his daily life in the U.S., jokingly attempting to speak in a stereotypical American accent during the podcast.

When asked by Hasan Minhaj to describe “the most American thing” he enjoys, Harry replied with a smile:

“Surfing.”
