Meghan Markle’s Planned UK Trip Before Christmas
Meghan Markle was spotted embracing the Halloween spirit over the weekend as she joined Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for a fun-filled trip to a local pumpkin patch near their Montecito home in California.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, looked effortlessly chic despite the laid-back family outing, sporting an outfit worth over $1,600 while enjoying the autumn festivities. In footage shared on Instagram, Meghan was seen holding hands with Prince Harry as they watched Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, exploring a sunlit field of pumpkins.
The Duchess donned a $400 brown Anine Bing “Luca” padded jacket, which she had previously worn during her trip to Washington, D.C. for Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit. She paired the jacket with black skinny jeans and CO Leather riding boots retailing for $1,195, completing her look with a low ponytail for a practical yet polished appearance.
Prince Harry opted for a casual ensemble of jeans, a hoodie, and a baseball cap.
Family Fun at Santa Barbara’s Lane Farms
The Sussex family is believed to have visited Lane Farms in Santa Barbara, just minutes away from their Montecito mansion.
The video showed the couple hand-in-hand as they watched Archie sift through pumpkins before running through a corn maze. Meghan’s close friend Markus Anderson and her mother Doria Ragland joined the family for the outing, which included a lively pumpkin-carving session.
Harry showcased his creative side, carving a spooky face into his own jack-o’-lantern, while Meghan affectionately guided her children through the farm on a trailer ride.
Sweet Family Moments Shared on Instagram
The footage also captured sweet glimpses of Archie and Lilibet’s auburn hair—an adorable trait inherited from their father—as they inspected pumpkins and played in the autumn sunshine.
At one point, Meghan gently patted Archie’s head, while Lilibet sat beside her pumpkins, smiling happily. Meghan captioned the post “Happy Sunday” with a pumpkin and heart emoji.
As with all of Meghan’s social media posts, comments were turned off and the number of likes was hidden.
This isn’t the only family moment Meghan has shared recently. Last month, she posted footage of her children at Disneyland, enjoying Disney-themed treats and a The Little Mermaid birthday cake reading “Happy Birthday Lili” for her daughter’s fourth birthday.
The cake featured beloved characters Ariel and Sebastian, delighting royal fans around the world.
Upcoming UK Trip Before Christmas
According to Woman’s Day, royal insiders claim that Meghan and Prince Harry are planning their first joint visit to Britain since 2022, possibly before Christmas.
“By all accounts, the trip is happening,” one source revealed. “It’s just a matter of finalizing the timing. Meghan’s anxious because she knows all eyes will be on her the minute she lands. She’s eager to get ahead of the narrative—and having Kate, 43, on board would massively help.”
Reports suggest Meghan hopes to reconnect with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, although insiders told Star magazine that the Duchess remains “nervous” about the reunion.
Despite lingering trust issues, Meghan is said to be “ready to forgive, forget, and move forward.”
