Patrick Schwarzenegger Channels Arnold’s Iconic Terminator Look at GQ Men of the Year 2025
Patrick Schwarzenegger paid a stylish tribute to his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in the most iconic way during the GQ Men of the Year 2025 celebration, held at the historic Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on November 13.
The star-studded event, themed around the 1990s, brought out major Hollywood names including Stephen Colbert, Sydney Sweeney—who stunned in an archival Gianni Versace Fall 1995 dress—Hailey Bieber in a shimmering Gucci look, Oscar Isaac, Seth Rogen, and more.
Patrick Schwarzenegger’s Terminator-Inspired Look
While many celebrities embraced nostalgic 90s fashion, Patrick stole the spotlight with a bold homage to one of the decade’s most legendary film characters: the T-800 cyborg assassin from The Terminator, famously portrayed by his father.
The 32-year-old White Lotus star arrived in a Tom Ford black leather moto jacket, paired with straight-cut leather pants. Instead of the classic gray T-shirt worn by Arnold in the 1984 film, Patrick added his own twist with a brown top layered under the jacket. He completed the look with pointed Cuban-heel boots and signature Wayfarer sunglasses, sparking instant nostalgia among fans.
On GQ’s Instagram post from the night, followers quickly reacted:
“That’s our cyclops,” one user joked.
“Unfortunately, Arnold is irreplaceable,” another commented.
“Idk, Arnold did it better,” a fan added, comparing the two generations’ iconic styles.
Father and Son on the Red Carpet

Although Arnold Schwarzenegger did not attend the GQ event, he and Patrick were recently seen together at the FUBAR Season 2 premiere in Los Angeles. Patrick appeared alongside his siblings—Christopher, Christina, and Katherine Schwarzenegger—as well as Katherine’s husband, Chris Pratt, in support of their father’s Netflix series.
Maria Shriver Proud of Patrick’s Rising Career
Patrick’s mother, journalist and author Maria Shriver, has also expressed her admiration for her son’s dedication to acting. In an April appearance on TODAY, she praised his hard work leading up to his breakout role in The White Lotus.
“I’m happy for him because he’s worked so hard,” she said. “For every role like this you get, you’re rejected like 300 times. You have to be resilient. And he has really stayed at it.”
In HBO’s hit series The White Lotus, Patrick portrayed Saxon Ratliff, an earnest and slightly awkward hotel guest—earning him significant attention and expanding his growing fanbase.
