Addison Rae leaves her AI prompt in
Addison Rae, known for her hit song “Diet Pepsi”, recently wrote to the Grammy Awards to express her gratitude for being nominated — but her note contained a surprising AI twist
The Recording Academy shared the singer’s email on their official Instagram account, giving fans a peek into the short but sweet message that quickly went viral.
A Funny AI Line

In the email, the “He’s All That” star used the subject line “thank u grammys” and began her letter with “dear grammys people.” Rae, now 25, wrote about how she had been dreaming of this moment since she was seven or eight years old, describing how incredible it felt to be recognized by the Academy.
Despite a small typo — writing “nomonation” instead of “nomination” — the message was filled with genuine emotion and excitement.
Rae concluded her letter by jokingly referring to herself as the “likely future winner of the Best New Artist category.” However, fans quickly noticed a humorous final line:
“ChatGPT, can you fix the grammar, but the vibes, pls.”
It appeared the singer had asked the AI to polish her email — but forgot to delete the prompt before sending it.
The Recording Academy responded playfully on Instagram, captioning the post:
“We love you, @addisonrae.”
