HRH labels found in Andrew’s Sandringham move
Prince Andrew has relocated to a newly renovated home on the Sandringham Estate, with reports suggesting that materials linked to him are still being labeled with the “HRH” title—despite it being formally removed.
The Duke of York was stripped of his HRH status and royal duties by King Charles III following ongoing controversy surrounding his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
During the move to Marsh Farm, a five-bedroom property on the estate, numerous boxes were seen marked with labels such as “HRH office,” “HRH sitting room,” and “HRH meeting room.” This has raised speculation that the designation may still be in informal use by his staff.
The relocation follows extensive renovation work at Marsh Farm, including new flooring and interior upgrades. Reports also indicate that an electric fence has been installed around the property’s perimeter for added security.
Prince Andrew, 66, has kept a low public profile in recent weeks. His move comes after leaving Royal Lodge, his previous 30-room residence, reportedly under pressure to downsize. He had been staying at nearby Wood Farm prior to the move.
Earlier this year, Andrew was questioned by police in connection with his past relationship with Epstein. He was held for over ten hours before being released without charge. Authorities reportedly referred to him as “Detainee A” during the process.
Meanwhile, his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, has also faced renewed scrutiny over her past ties to Epstein. There have been calls to revoke her Freedom of the City of York honor, originally awarded in 1987.
The developments mark another chapter in the Duke of York’s ongoing retreat from public royal life, as he settles into a quieter residence within the Sandringham estate.
